Information Fusion Systems

Short description:
Information fusion approaches are more and more used in industrial applications in which there is a real need to take into account several kinds of information simultaneously. Fusion systems become complex because they involve all the information treatment chain steps (from the extraction to the decision). They have many parameters and they imply an important computation time. They are also not easy to use and to adjust by the end-users.The objective of the special session is to bring together researchers to report and discuss recent developments in the design of information fusion systems including but not limited to these topics:
